About these boss battle videos:
I decided on a whim one night to start recording, so some of them will be recorded from New Game ++. In NG+ I'd already beaten the Asylum Demon, Bell Gargoyles, Chaos Witch Quelaag, Moonlight Butterfly, and Sif the Great Grey Wolf before deciding on recording. Watch the annotations and they will tell with cycle I'm on.

For an entirely melee character you have to be patient. After a little while it will come down near the bridge. I could've shot this thing with the Darkmoon Bow while it was flying, but I didn't want to risk getting shot by the spike attack.
