Cerecloth were British death metal band. Formed in '92, they band only released this demo and a single in 1993, splitting-up in an unknown year. It was formed by Darren O'Hara, guitarrist for Malediction, another band whose demos I've uploaded a while back.
Despite the diminute musical output, Cerecloth delivers. They are mainly pure death metal, but there are some unmistakably death/doom influences to their sound, like the atmosphere and some songwriting. The band also often uses some techniques that early Immolation loved to use, like those high-pitched guitar schreeches, and some ethereal organs taken from the already mentioned death/doom side. Without saying much more about this short but super sweet demo, the closer really rounds up the other 2 songs and finishes it off with a fitting end.

Also a cerecloth was a waxed cloth used for wrapping a corpse.
