How to use a Meh Dai Baby Carrier with your Newborn (Infantino Sash, babyhawk, etc)

This video by a Certified Babywearing Consultant shows how to use a meh-dai baby carrier with a newborn. This video shows legs out positioning and includes how to roll the panel and cinch the waist to get a good fit for a newborn. It includes how to check that your baby fits and how to check your carry when you are finished. It also includes tips for getting a comfortable fit.

The meh-dai shown in the video is an Infantino sash carrier. Infantino calls this carrier a mei tai. This does not reflect accurate pronunciation of the carrier name in either Cantonese or Mandarin. The correct name is meh dai or beh dai.

These instructions work with most meh dai carriers (including infantino, Babyhawk, Catbirdbaby, Kol Kol, Maya, Fidella, etc)
