In 1972 she was the only woman who took part in the foundation of Dai-Rakudakan, one of the first Butoh dance companies led by Akaji Maro.

In 1975 she participated in the creation of the Hoppo-Butoh-ha (“Northern Butoh School company")

In 1980 she took part in the foundation of the Suzuranto, the “Northern Butoh School"
dance group formed only by female dancers.

In 1984 she appeared in "Hawk Zashiki" for the Northern Butoh School Dissolution Commemorative Performance

In 1992 she decided to move to Tsugaru area (situated in Aomori Prefecture, the Northern part of Honshu-mainland Japan) and started developing a unique Butoh style.

In 1995 she danced in “Birth of the wind” (original title Kaze no tanjo) a piece she directed herself for the Ohara School of Ikebana 100th Anniversary Event.

In 1998 she danced in “Cariyon’s Garden, a story of three winds” a piece she directed for the NHK Sendai Broadcasting Station 70th Anniversary Exhibition "Tohoku’s Figurative -Discovery from the 20th Century".

In 2002 she performed “Tono ・Dessin”

In 2005 she performed the piece “Homage to Yoshio Murakami’s Tsugaru Period” in the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Transparence to the North, Yoshio Murakami” (Kita ni sumu Murakami Yoshio Ten)

Yoshio Murakami (1933−2006) was an acclaimed contemporary painter based in Tsugaru Area and a good friend of Yuki Yuko

In 2007 she performed in “Narcissus Moon” (Suisentsuki) in Russia for the project “From the source of Butoh to the body”, organized by PARC – Japan Center, Pacific Basin Arts Communication
