Friends of Old Puppy play Goodnight, Irene. The tune "Goodnight, Irene" was first recorded by Huddie 'Lead Belly' Ledbetter around about 1932. The Friends of Old Puppy features Steven Strauss on (Risa) electric soprano ukulele, Kurt Stevenson on guitar, Morgan Fichter on violin, Billy Wilson on his lap steel guitar, Ed Johnson on wash-tub bass ("gutbucket"), and Cynthia Wilson on the drums. This music was recorded on March 12, 2011.
