This video is more of a feelings-orientated one instead of sticking directly to the lyrics I wanted to show the overall relationship and more or less random manip/scene ideas.

PLOT:
Elena surprises Mateo with a valuable birthday present: an ancient Maruvian spellbook she bought from the museum. Isa teases her about the special present for Mateo.
Elena and Mateo sharing their love for music and dancing.
When they are on a holiday, Mateo summons Jaquins made of light. Elena is moved and remembers the first time he successfully cast the spell with her emotional support, building the foundation of their friendship.
While swimming they stumble a captured Sirena and help her. When Elena is captured Mateo gets distracted and his tamborita is stolen, leaving him defenseless. This sparks the power Elena needed to complete her spell.
Just as Gabe and Mateo arrest Cristobal, they see the explosion from the tower where Elena fights Shuriki. Mateo fears for Elenas life and rushes to stand by her side. he uses his floating spell to - and here I quote the wonderful sentence from Pizzansunshine's fanfiction - "skip such a trivial thing as stairs".
He finds Elena hugging Skylar feeling both relieved and heart-aching. After having finally avanged her parents' murder Elena feels sad, exhausted and relieved. MAteo just hugs her to give her comfort.
