It's summer and the days are long. I met up with my friend Braeden for an early morning of swinging flies on the trout spey, then an afternoon of casting hoppers at undercut banks. Sometimes the fishing is lights out, other times, I grind it out for a few to hand. We had no choice but to fish hard and it paid off.
