The Rights and Wrongs of Foamstars - A Retrospective

Ever since the games announcement, Foamstars has always been in a weird position due to its many similarities to Splatoon and other in-game features which can turn people away from supporting it, such as AI artwork, large prices on character skins, and more. Despite this, Square Enix still attempts to release new seasons, modes, maps, characters, and updates to Foamstars, although the games player count has been struggling since release. With all that being said, should people choose to support this game again for what it brings to the table as a free multiplayer shooter, or should it remain forgotten due to its development decisions?
