From the moment Boruto Naruto Next Generations came out, one of the biggest complaints that long time Naruto fans had was that the series has broken power scaling that makes absolutely no sense at all. The new generation of kids started out more skilled than their parents were at the same age and as the series progressed, they began to use powers and abilities that their parents either never mastered or didn't show mastery of until we reached the war arc of Naruto's manga, or for anime viewers naruto shippuden's war arc. Now that Naruto has lost Kurama and Sasuke has lost the rinnegan, we now have the cyborg siblings Ada and Daemon who on top of being stronger than Jigen, the very same Jigen who beat Naruto and Sasuke within an inch of their lives, but they're even stronger than the current main villain of the story, Code who now has his limiters removed and a power level above Jigen as well! Long since gone are the days where six paths sage mode was considered to be the end all be all for the power levels, according to some, the era of six paths power levels has been left behind and these new characters can just walk up punch Madara and Hashirama so hard that their heads will explode in the process.

Ada's ocular powers makes hiding from her useless and her physical strength is above Jigen's. Daemon is the strongest character we've seen since Isshiki Otsutsuki, with some even going as far as to say that he might be the only person besides Baryon Mode Naruto to give Isshiki real trouble in a fight, because on top of his insane speed and power, he also possesses the ability to reflect attacks, so long as he is touching the body of someone in the area while the fight is going on, which as a reminder it doesn't have to be whoever he's fighting. However, with all that being said, are the power scaling issues in Boruto as bad as fans say or is there something that fans have missed here or is this another situation where nostalgia is blinding fans to the truth?
