A warning from first responders to families visiting Lake Tahoe. While the gorgeous views are inviting, they warn to be careful when visiting waterfalls. This comes after Ishrat Binta Azim, 25, died at Eagle Falls when she was swept away by rushing water. El Dorado County Sheriff's deputies say when Azim, of San Francisco, got into the water, the fast current took her over the edge and she couldn't be seen. Deputies found Azim's body in a pool of water near the Vikingsholm walking path. "It's a terrible thing that happened," said Austin Montalbano. Montalbano is visiting from Texas with his family and friends. They heard about the deadly accident before venturing to Eagle Falls Friday. First responders always warn about being safe around cliffs and waterfalls, but this year they say is even more dangerous with the above-average snow melt. Some tourists were crawling over wet rocks near the waterfall Friday afternoon and playing in the water.
