The speakers of this session Dr. Cynthia Nicol, Dr. Jo-ann Archibald, Janice Novakowski, and high school teacher Nichola Williams discuss assessment as ecosystems for mathematics education, assessment as Indigenous Storywork and how assessment practices can be guided by Indigenous pedagogies and perspectives, and assessment as pedagogies including teachings from the land.

Join us for the continuation of this webinar series with leading scholars and classroom educators hosted in 2024-25. This season’s 3-part series focuses on assessment practices in math education guided by Indigenous pedagogies and perspectives such as Indigenous Storywork, teachings from the land, and culturally responsive mathematics education.
