Yamaha FX-900 "user-made version" of FX-500 Soft Focus 'SlowDive' Patch

After I posted a pic of my rack with a Yamaha FX-900 in it over on the Facebook Pedalboards of Doom group, Ried Betten asked if it could recreate the FX-500's "Soft Focus" patch, which a lot of folks know as the SlowDive path or sound.

I grabbed the FX-500 manual off the Yamaha site which has the settings for the patch and tried my best to recreate it.

There are some differences between how effects blocks work between the units, and so some of the individual effects for those blocks are slightly different. I talk about that a little bit in the video, as well as turn individual blocks on an off so you can hear how they are contributing to the overall sound.

Guitar is a CIJ Jazzmaster with Novak Pickups (JM-90 bridge, JM-V neck), and a Mastery Bridge.
