This is a short video on cleaning and/or cleaning a worn or damaged commutator on a Makita 9005b angle grinder.

This video was originally included in my "Angle Grinder Repair - 5 Common Issues" video which is one of my most popular videos, but I decided to re-release each of the issue repair videos separately to make it easier for people to find the exact repair they're looking for and to polish the video off a little.

Note that the steps in this video will not repair a severely damaged commutator but can help with one that is dirty, has minor wear or scratches or may be shorting due to carbon or metal dust buildup between the segments.
