Fender Japan Telecaster Refretting New boonnut Parts polishing Overhaul

I refretted a Feder Japan Telecaster, replaced the nut, fixed the fingerboard, overhauled it, polished the parts, and replaced the pegs. I explained the work in the subtitle. I hope you enjoy it.

It was a tough kid. I apologize to the customer for the trouble.

First of all, it had been roughly refretted when we received it...
I suggested to refret it additionally.
The frets had been fixed with a huge amount of glue...
Don't use glue to fix frets! But if the frets are completely fixed, it's probably better.
If the frets are completely fixed, it's probably better. But I don't think it's good to use glue to fix bent or floating frets.

Refretting is difficult, after all. I need more experience.


The bridge was also played in and rusted a lot.
Rather than polishing it, I removed the rust and polished it as much as possible.

The pegs are GOTHO SDS510-HAPM-good pegs. The best. But difficult to adjust.
But they are difficult to adjust. It was a bit of a struggle. That's why I haven't taken any videos...

The nut is the usual cow bone. The nut is the usual beef bone, but I would recommend the Montour nut as it is less likely to stain.
The grease this time is a little better grease...Tamiya.
The quantity of Tamiya is just right. It's just right. I think Freedom's grease is also good.

いやーなかなか手ごわい子でした。お客様にはご面倒おかけいたしました。

まずお預かり時にかなり手荒なリフレットがされていて・・・
追加でリフレットもご提案させていただきました。
フレットがものすごい量の接着剤で固定されていました・・・
フレット固定に接着剤を使うな！と頑固に叫ぶのもいいですが、考え方を変えればフレットが完全に固定されているならそっちのほうがいいのかもしれませんね。
でもフレットの曲げ、浮きを接着剤で固定するのはだめだと思うんですがどうなんですかね。

何だかんだいったってリフレットは難しい。もっと経験がほしいです。


ブリッジも弾き込まれておりサビがかなり出ていました。
今回は磨くというよりもサビを落として可能な限りポリッシュさせていただきました。

ペグはGOTHOのSDS510-HAPM-いいペグです。最高。でも調整
が難しい。ちょっとあたふたしました。おかげで動画が撮れてないという・・・

ナットはいつもの牛骨です。モントールのやつがシミとかが少くておすすめかもです。
今回のグリスはちょっといいグリス・・・タミヤですが。
タミヤは量がね。ちょうど良いんです。フリーダムのでも良いと思いますが。
