Created back in Winter 2003, the late Satoshi Kon's Christmas movie, Tokyo Godfathers is not your typical Christmas film. Despite Tokyo Godfathers surprisingly lacking much of Satoshi's typical artistic style and vision, the Tokyo Godfathers movie takes a different spin on the prototypical Christmas film and expands on core topics such as "family" in a unique way. Tokyo Godfathers opts, interestingly enough, to create an anime film with real depth!

Satoshi Kon's Tokyo Godfathers is not only a labor of love for all that are celebrating this Christmas and future holiday seasons, but by its own merit, stands on its own as a great "feel-good" anime movie (even without the holidays being considered).
