Editors - Kiss live at Hear Hear Festival 14th August 2022

Here's another track from Editors show at Hear Hear Festival on the 14th August 2022. I initially thought that Kiss was about the redeeming power of lip to lip contact, but the more I play it and take in those lyrics, the more I think it sounds like the fears and doubts of a back stage panic attack being chronicled and set to music. It also feels as though it's dedicated, with love and weary/wary gratitude to all of us who may act as witnesses to the spectacle. Heavy stuff, or maybe not. Only Smith knows and he'll probably never tell.
