Gen Katumba Wamala discharged from hospital

General Katumba Wamala has been discharged from hospital a day after he sustained gunshot injuries during a failed assassination attempt in which his daughter and driver were killed.
General Katumba has thanked government officials and different members of the public for the overwhelming support and condolences he received while in hospital.
In the same vein, former Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda has called on the public to cooperate and offer any vital information or leads to police and other investigating agencies in regard to the attack on General Katumba Wamala.
