Adding simple and exponential moving averages to a chart in IBRK's TWS platform step by step for day trading, swing trading or options trading. Interactive Brokers platform can be complicated and I wanted to make a video that showed all of the settings that I use so that my charts are easy to read and help me make quick decisions while trading options or stock. Once setup the chart displays 20 EMA, 50 SMA and 200 SMA as well as dividends and stock split indicators. It also shows the volume and the expected blue cone that represents a 1 standard deviation move, 68.7% probability that the stock will stay inside of the 1 SD move based on historical data and current open options. My primary investment strategy is long term high yield dividend investing.
