Arcadia -- Residential (WM)

Описание к видео Arcadia -- Residential (WM)

Waste Management - San Gabriel provides residential trash pickup to the city of Arcadia. Here are a few of the trucks that run here:

(0:00) - 263266: This is one of the last green Curotto Cans in the Baldwin Park fleet (and might very well be the last Curotto Can I too). A very quick and professional driver behind the wheel, Mota, who is actually my old trash driver from 2010. He's one of the best Curotto drivers in the fleet for sure. It's hard to find a green Curotto in SoCal, so I hope you enjoy this truck!

(2:57) - 103858: There is a little history between this truck and myself. This was the very first 320/Amrep I saw from the 2012 batch when WM first starting getting the "Think Green, Think Clean" trucks. I remember seeing the truck dart in and out of alleys on my way to school every week in 2012-2013. Fast forward to Wednesday, June 17, 2015, and I headed out to finally find this truck. A very good decision in my opinion, as the driver, Moises, is one of the nicest drivers I've met and his operating style is awesome. As some of you may have seen, the Amreps in my yard aren't very fast, but this guy was hauling through the route. In my opinion, this is probably the most interesting truck in the fleet. Moises's old truck was #101582, a Mack LE Amrep Octo, which is now in Palmdale.

(5:46) - 211781: A couple minutes after I left 103858, I saw this truck turn onto the same street as me and approach a couple Dumpsters out for collection. Residents have the option of renting Dumpsters along with, or instead of, regular carts, so that's why this truck is in this compilation. This is our newest front loader. I got to work on it at a truck show, so it was neat to see it in action. They look pretty nice from the front, and the angle I filmed it is my favorite perspective of the truck. This driver used to have a Mack MR Wittke FEL, 206211.

(7:59) - 103857: Right after 211781 turned around and left, I saw Pascuali a few houses behind. It was nice talking to him for a little bit since it's been a little over a year since we've had the time to chat. Pascuali is a 34 year veteran of the waste industry, starting out with SCA, then WMX, then Newco, and now back with WM.

(8:34) - 103860: I wanted to see Joe again since it's been a couple months. Still in Henry's old truck, but the arm was a little faster. I even saw him flip a couple lids!

(9:42) - 103709: Here is one of the faster Autocars in the area. Decided to grab a clip on the way back home. This guy has a cool operating style, which results in a lot more lid flips than the other Autocars. Got lucky with the one in the video!

(10:43) - 263982: Another clip I grabbed on the way home. Mike Vasquez behind the wheel of this truck. They took the auto tarp off :(

(11:23) - 263452: Filiberto's usual Mack was down, so he took 263452 out. I really like this truck because of the reflective tape on the arms and phone number on the signboard.

(12:25) - 104406: Filiberto Cortes taking the recycles. Another large setout and the first time I got to see my Rehrig get collected!

(13:07) - Some of the pictures I got from the filming trip.

Thanks to all of Waste Management - Arcadia's awesome drivers for letting me film and their many years of service! If you would like to see more of a certain truck, leave a comment!
