A procession from the Dallas medical examiners office back to Terrell is expected on at 10 a.m. for fallen Terrell police officer Jacob Candanoza. Exact route is unknown at this time.

There will also be a candlelight vigil Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Terrell Police Headquarters on 1100 State Highway 34 North.

Officer Candanoza joined the Terrell Police force in 2024. He leaves behind a wife and young daughter.
