Prime Time, Feb 20, 2019 | Tribute To Renowned Author Dr Namvar Singh

Renowned Hindi author and Sahitya Akademi awardee Dr Namvar Singh died in New Delhi on Feb 19, 2019 at the age of 92. In an earlier episode of Prime Time, we had spoken to Dr Singh at his residence in Delhi. "There will never be another Namvar again", says Ravish Kumar in this episode that aired on May 4, 2019.

Born in Varanasi, Namvar Singh was the chairman of Jawaharlal Nehru University's Centre of Indian Languagues. Dr Singh has authored over a hundred published books. (Audio in Hindi)
