C-10/20 AWD Project Truck gets the frame shortened and body mounts | Episode 3

My 1968 GMC C-20 gets some much needed work. New body mounts and the frame gets shorter. We are converting this c20 into a C-10 (C-5) with an AWD Suburban chassis and all it’s running gear.

My nephew came to town and we cut 3 5/8” out of the frame and designed, fabricated and installed custom body mounts for the cab. All in three partial days in the shop.
