This week, Gordon chats with Chris Metherell.

Chris is the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland's Vice County Recorder for North Northumberland and served as the society's president from 2017 until 2019. He is a fellow for the Linnean Society and regularly lectures and appears in films on botanical topics, leading field courses locally and nationally.

Chris is also a contributing author to an exciting new publication 'Orchids of North East England.' The book uses your contributions to the citizen science project, Discovering North East Orchids, to showcase their beauty and diversity in this region and broaden our knowledge about them.
