So as many of you know, I recently traded my 2021 BMW S1000rr M package in for a 2023 Indian Challenger Dark Horse. The Challenger Dark Horse comes with a pretty solid spec sheet. 122hp, 128 ft lbs of torque, 6 gallon fuel tank and much more. But before I even hit the legendary 1901 miles, this motorcycle is already giving me issues. At the moment the bike is shutting off at red lights and throwing 3 codes. 2 for o2 sensors and one for an ignition coil. The dealership believes this could be linked to a fuse issue, but who knows. They are going to come pick the bike up and take it in so they can get a better look at the bike and determine the proper fix. This is one reason I always purchase a bike with warranty. Simple things can go wrong with new bikes and by having warranty to cover it, it's one less thing you have to worry about. The downtime sucks as this is the best time to ride motorcycles in florida, but for now we can only hope this gets resolved quickly so we can get back to enjoying this amazing bike. While this experience isn't ideal, I'm certain that this issue will be fixed soon. The guys over at iMotorsports of St.Pete have been great so I know it's in good hands. Again, this isn't the Indian Challenger ride review I was planning on giving, but either way, I'll take you guys along for the ride and we'll do a full real motorcycle review once everything is figured out!
