LANGEI // Nongpok Shanjenbam // Duck farming project // MANIPUR

Nongpok Sanjenbam Khunou that is located in Imphal East district was successfully developed as a model village by a private organization called LANGEI . 30+ CCTV cameras with a sound system were also installed in and around the village premises for security purposes.. More than 100+ women are making traditional handloom and handicraft. There is proper RO drinking water system.With one switch on 200+ bulbs gives light to this villagers. Poultry farm of local chicken and Duck for income generation. There is also a sport academy where a child from a house is taking part. This private organization ( Langei ) has not only developed Nongpok Sanjenbam Khunou in five different fields but also provided a source of income to the villagers.This is a real model of village which I have never seen in manipur. Salute to u Eyamba Telem Arunkumar, the Chief Executive Officer of Langei Foundation, also the man behind the adoption of the village, single-handedly managed and developed the village into a role model village...
