My most memorable Vishu Sadhya till date :

In the times of lockdown, even the way we celebrated our festivals have changed.
And on 14th April Vishu being the harvest festival for Malayalees, I thought why not invite home my classmates and childhood friends for more than 30 years, for Vishu Sadhya.

A lavish feast we eagerly look forward to every year.
So we decided to continue the tradition by maintaining social distance.

Though conceptualised just when the lockdown was announced, We had to wait till 14th April because we couldn’t have released it before Vishu.

We 15 friends made it possible with active support from everyone’s family.

Thanks to all my friends who really took out time and effort to capture shots as I directed them sitting miles and miles away.

From Perth, Dubai, Vizag, Secunderabad, Gurgaon, Ambala, Karnal, Bangalore, Mumbai.
Wherever they were, they joined.

My school friends, coming from diverse fields like armed forces, software, sales, web designing, HR, media, aviation, medicine, academics etc and who don’t even have any remote connection with films or advertising took lot of pains in terms of retakes. Till they gave their best.

And the idea behind this was to send across the message that if you’ve friends with whom you share priceless memories, you can be together even if your are not nearby.

Stay home and celebrate life.

So, wish you all a very happy Vishu.
