In the food sector, COVID-19 pandemic could both serve as a huge setback as well as the opportunity

For this EYoSA has come up with these solutions:
 Encourage consumption and promotion of alternative breadbaskets such as millet, and barley
 Encourage households to grow fruits and vegetables to amend micronutrients in the diet
 Prevent farmers to withdraw from farming by adding them incentives by the government
 Promote verticulture, pot culture, kitchen garden rooftop gardens in urban households
 Enforce fair trade and barter wherever suitable
 Restrict the export of local food required to feed the local population, followed by the national population
 Allow and ease access to electronic transactions, home delivery of farm produces
 Create easy channels to carry goods from producers to end consumers
 Mandate a price freeze on some nutritious local diets
 Transportation support for food supply
 Revolutionize storage facilities
 Decentralize distribution outlets
