Had the amazing opportunity to visit my 59th country, Iraq. Erbil, a city in the autonomous Iraqi Kurdistan region in the north of the country, shattered all expectations and preconceived notions I had from Western media. The narrative that the West loves to show about Iraq is war, rubble, and strife, and that couldn't have been more wrong upon my visit to Erbil, Iraq. I met the friendliest people, had incredible food, and was amazed at how beautiful the city is. Come with me to debunk the stereotypes of Iraq that we've held for years.
