The Dual Lanyard provides another level of convenience and protection, especially in FREAKING COLD BITTER WINDS. Desert=no trees=equals=icy wind that DOES NOT STOP. haha
The Quick Release connectors allow you to easily connect or un-connect the lanyard's strap. As demonstrated in this quick vid. Sure the sunset makes everything all golden but that wind DID NOT STOP for a second. Gloves were needed, strapped the lanyard around my neck and I was good to go.
And of course since our handles are adjustable I fitted the velcro hand strap to fit over my now toasty gloved hand.
You could of course just lift the connected lanyard loop over your head but if you have a million layers, hats, hoods on or a fancy hair do or whatever, connecting and disconnecting is as easy as Squeeze, Pull, Click
A Dual Lanyard user shared a clever use with us this year.
When they were forced to sleep in an airport during a long layover they connected the lanyard through all of their luggage handles and looped their arm through while napping on an airport bench. This way they could catch some ZzzZzzzzz and if any Ne'er–do–wells tried to scooch off with their luggage they'd have a hard time and the napper would be awakened. Clever!
Another user let us know that they use their Dual Lanyard as their ‪#‎camerastrap‬ . They said they enjoyed the freedom of connecting and disconnecting their camera from the strap quickly and efficiently while on photo shoots.
Another use we were made aware of is preventing your expensive tablet from falling or being snatched from you in crowded ‪#‎tourist‬ areas where personal space is limited and unfortunately thieves take advantage. It happens, but not to you or your traveling loved ones if they have a Dual Lanyard neck strap.
