Dodge Charger 2015+ replica headlights

Описание к видео Dodge Charger 2015+ replica headlights

Replica headlights for the 11 to 14 Charger.
They work with any 11 to 14, regardless of
what type of headlights came with the car
(HID or halogen), however, they will not
work with the factory bulbs. The only bulbs
these need are H7s. The parking lights and
turn signals are built in and plug into the
factory harness.

Just so everyone knows, the LED tube lights
ARE NOT the DRLs. They are just the
parking lights. Also be warned that the DRLs will still be the high beams at low
voltage, but this causes a problem. These
headlights use shutters like the 2015+ ones
to combine the low and high beams using
only a single filament bulb. So if the DRLs
are activated, there is a constant clicking
noise as the shutter is trying to activate, but
I'm assuming it doesn't have the power to
do so. So, you'll want to deactivate the
DRLs in the UConnect settings.

The flickering in the turn signal on the
video, you cannot see that with your eyes,
so it must be something with how the
camera picks up LED light.

These come with H7 halogen bulbs, but
they're not good. I'd recommend H7 LED or
HID replacements. I went with LEDs just so I
didn't have to mount aftermarket ballasts
and igniters or have to drill into the dust
caps. The projectors have a more crisp cut
off than the stock projectors, but the light
pattern isn't as smoothed out. The LEDs I
bought are adjustable and no matter how l
turned them, there were hotspots and
patterns in the light.

They are very water tight, I've ran the car
through the car wash several times (I know, I
know, but it's all l have time for) and there
hasn't been any condensation issues. They
also fit well for aftermarket, they are slightly
smaller than stock, but you can only tell by
the little bit more of a gap there is around
the headlights and body panels. You'd never
know if you weren't looking though.

Overall, they are decent replacements if you
need new headlights. They are great
replacements if you must have “that look“,
but I feel they're not worth the $450 to
$550 (depending on the site you find them
on) price point if you're just looking for
something different. I initially justified the
cost because the description of these lights
say that the LED tubes are the DRLs, so I
assumed there was extra wiring going on to
make that happen, but alas, they are only
the parking lights. If they were under the
$400 price point, I'd tell everyone to go for
it.

Sorry for the dirty car in a garage, but this
was a requested video for someone and
well... didn't have time to wash the car.
