Latifa's Banat al-Beled perform two dances choreographed by her mentor, Ibrahim Farrah. In the first dance, Skanderani, an amorous man from Alexandria, Egypt, playfully extols the virtues of his girlfriend. This choreography was specially adapted for Latifa by Ibrahim Farrah. Staging by Anisa.
The second Ibrahim Farrah choreography is to an iconic song by Ahmad Adaweya, Ayeela Tayha. Watch for the building and releasing of tension that is a characteristic of so many of Farrah's dances.
