1. While on the ledge, first make sure to C-up, press B to get out of first-person and quickly hold L. This puts the camera closer to Link than if you had just press L normally.

2. Inch Link toward the edge by lightly holding forward. The collision on the pillar pushes Link to the side on its own, so no additional input is required. Continue this until Link is somewhere between 30%-49% off the edge. When you reach 50% off the edge, Link falls. A pic demonstrating a good setup is here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/57028714/wwc...

3. Go into first-person again with C-up, and move the camera directly to the right until the middle of the B button is roughly aligned with a darker part of the stone texture a little bit above it. The distance between the "R" in "Return" and the end of a pretty dark part of the wall to the left of it should also be about the same as the width of the B button icon. 4. Hold L and sidehop left. You should be on the other side of the pillar! It takes some pretty small movements so it you messed up, try the setup again.
