Introducing Flexi-Grow, an AI-enabled soft robot designed to go where humans and traditional robots can't. Whether it's navigating narrow pipelines, inspecting toxic sewers, or searching for survivors deep inside unstable rubble after a disaster, Flexi-Grow is built to make the inaccessible accessible—safely.
Unlike rigid robots, it utilizes a unique pneumatic mechanism that allows it to grow, adapt, and squeeze through the tightest gaps. Coupled with AI-powered detection, it can identify survivors, obstacles, and hazards in real-time, providing crucial data from the most dangerous environments.
Key Features Demonstrated:

• Soft Growing Mechanism: Uses air pressure and a spooling system to extend and navigate complex paths.

• Pneumatic Bending: Artificial pneumatic muscles allow precise directional control (right, left, and down).

• Functional Tip: Equipped with a robotic arm for grabbing objects and an LED light for visibility in dark spaces.

• Live Intelligence: Transmits a live video feed to the operator for real-time decision-making.
