Shongweni Farmers Market

This Video is about my visit to the beautiful Shongweni Farmers Market in Shongweni village which is 45 kms from Durban via N3 towards Pietermaritzburg. The market is pet friendly and opens only on Saturdays from 0630 hrs to 1230 hrs. This is an open avenue where the farmers of Shongweni displays fresh produce, crafts, wide range of ready made foods, decor items, furniture, pet products, outdoor goods, nursery, jewelry, craft beer with seating and rest areas, live music, nature trail, as well as great view of the waterfalls and lush green rolling hills....

What draws people each week is the unique ambiance. The fact that you can buy products directly from the producer, the safe and friendly environment.

With the opportunity to bring along the entire family, including your pets – not to mention sampling and learning about products directly from the manufacturer when the opportunity arises. Come rain or shine, this market is open. It caters for everyone being completely wheelchair friendly. There are also dedicated kids zones scattered throughout the market.
