Falconer Aero 2Vi® Mips Helmet

TIME TRIAL: REDEEMER 2VI® MIPS HELMET
In terms of time trial helmets, the Uno-X Pro Cycling Team will enter the race with two products from Sweet Protection. While the Tucker Mips has already proven itself in many races, the Redeemer 2Vi® Mips was launched during Paris-Nice 2023. This is a helmet that leverages aerodynamic input and design languages from Formula 1 to achieve superior efficiency for time trail specialists. To reduce harmful rotational forces, that can be transmitted to the head during an impact, a Mips system has been integrated into both helmets. Furthermore, a 360 fit system makes an on-the-fly adaption possible.
The Redeemer 2Vi® breaking the mold of traditional time trial helmets and is Sweet Protection’s most advanced time trial helmet, developed with aerodynamic know-how from Formula 1 and in close collaboration with the Uno-X Pro Cycling Team and 2022 U23 ITT World Champion Søren Wærenskjold. Designed to reduce the aerodynamic drag to a minimum and get the maximum out of the best in the world. In countless wind tunnel tests and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, the experts succeeded in developing an outperforming aero helmet. Uno-X Pro Cycling Team rider Søren Wærenskjold was a model and case study crucial in the development and aerodynamic testing (both CFD and wind tunnel). The goal was to simulate an optimal time trial position to best fit the helmet to the rider. The professional athlete's conclusion: „The Redeemer 2Vi® Mips is a seriously fast helmet.
