One of the features of Google Stadia is the ability to live stream by pushing the S button on the controller. Push the button and you are ready to broadcast your gameplay and commentary straight to Youtube live. This is a neat feature in itself, add that Google will be allowing Crowd Play (where the viewer will be able to join in on a select number of games), and this could be what sets Google Stadia apart from the competition.

The thing is how well does it work?

Well, I will post the latest gameplay of me playing through Final Fantasy and you the audience can grade the program.

Set up:
Chromebook
Stadia controller
and a very bad gamer 😂





My grade:
Gameplay back quality: I though the playback quality was pretty good. I was impressed considering the first time I tried this back when Cyberpunk released I could only get 30 seconds to play back. So good job their

Gameplay Audio: This was pretty good as well. You can definitely hear all the gameplay from the music, character voices, and gameplay with very little distortion. So that impressed me as well.

Speaker Audio: This is where I have to give them a failing grade. The speaker audio was very muted and distorted. Even when I adjusted the audio levels at the beginning it still failed to provide the speaker audio clearly. At the beginning it seemed promising but it just continued to distort, especially as the game went on.

My overall report card grade: C+
My criticism and feeling of Google Stadia has been back and forth. At times I am praising them and at others criticizing. But seeing this feature give me some hope on where this can go. Though they need to fix the speaker audio, I feel like everything else is coming along.
