Jonas Falk grew up in Leipzig, where his mixed heritage and queer identity often left him feeling like an outsider. His Ghanaian mother gifted him a guitar and tales of souls choosing their paths for growth. At 22, Jonas traveled Germany, meeting a queer poet in Munich living her truth and a non-binary busker in Hamburg embracing their identity. These encounters taught him that every life is divinely guided to shine. Under the starry sky of Saxon Switzerland, he wrote “Shine Your Light,” a call to live authentically, no matter who you are or who you love.
