In this video, I showcase the newly updated walk animations for characters in Wuthering Waves 3.1, with a side-by-side comparison of the old and new animations.

This update was much needed, especially for the male MC, whose walking animation previously felt stiff and robotic. If you played the game early on, you probably noticed how odd it looked. With the 3.1 update, the walk animation feels smoother and more natural.

That said, I personally think the female character walk animations were already fine. Some of the new changes feel a bit overdone and may look strange on certain characters like Cartethyia and Carlotta. They also updated Encore’s animation, which I briefly show as well.

There will be a follow-up video where I showcase idle and sprint/walking animations. I haven’t progressed much in the story yet, so some content may still be locked.
