This project demonstrates how to use an MSP430 Launchpad to control a table light automatically based on the ambient light level. The MSP430 Launchpad is a low-cost development board that can be programmed using Energia, an Arduino-like IDE. The project uses a light-dependent resistor (LDR) to sense the light level and a relay module to switch the table light on or off. The MSP430 Launchpad reads the LDR value through an analog input and compares it with a threshold value. If the light level is below the threshold, the MSP430 Launchpad sends a high signal to the relay module, which turns on the table light. If the light level is above the threshold, the MSP430 Launchpad sends a low signal to the relay module, which turns off the table light. This way, the table light is controlled automatically without any manual intervention.
