Shocking scenes have emerged as police clashed with protesters in a Sydney pub after today’s ‘March for Australia.’

The incident, which occurred this evening outside of Bar Broadway, saw cops swarm the premises, making two arrests and deploying pepper spray.

Footage shows an officer being attacked at the entrance before another shouts, “get back,” while reaching for pepper spray.

Patrons inside the venue can then be heard coughing and saying, “f**king pepper spray.”

A spokesperson for NSW Police told news.com.au that two people were arrested following the scenes.

“Two people have been arrested after a police officer was assaulted during a brawl at a bar in Broadway – in Sydney’s CBD – today.

“About 5.15pm (Sunday 31 August 2025), officers from Sydney City Police Area Command were called to the bar on Broadway, following reports of a group of people at the bar who were yelling offensively at passers-by before a brawl ensued.

“Police arrived and attempted to disperse the group, when an officer was assaulted by two people. Two men, aged 29 and 48, were arrested.
