PART 2 of 3 THE WAVE ROVER STORY /solo Atlantic circuit in a Contessa 26/ Westward crossing

Minimalist solo sailor, Alan Mulholland, crosses the Atlantic from the Port of Calero in the Canaries to Martinique in the Caribbean. This is the second Atlantic crossing for Wave Rover having just completed a West to East passage in Part 1. In this part, Wave Rover suffers a severe knock down that has big consequences for the planned voyage. Wave Rover is a 40 year old Contessa 26 modified by Mulholland for this voyage.
