Kenya's Rock scene has been lucky to be graced by international Rock bands - coming to play and perform in the country especially in the last 10 years. They include Rock and Metal bands such as Stick To Your Guns. Stick to Your Guns is is an American hardcore punk band from Orange County, California. Members of the band include Jesse Barnett (vocals), Andrew Rose (bass), George Schmitz (drums), Chris Rawson and Josh James (guitars). They are currently signed with Pure Noise Records.They performed in Kenya in March 2017. Other Rock Bands that have performed in Kenya include Folk Punk Band FEROCIOUS DOG. Ferocious Dog are an English folk punk band from Warsop, Nottinghamshire, England. They're performed in Kenya three times, including Purdy Arms Karen Nairobi in February 2018, Carnivore Nairobi Kenya 2019 and Js Westlands Muthangari Drive Kenya in Feb 2019. Other Rock music and Metal music bands that are international that have played in Kenya include Skinflint. Skinflint is a heavy metal band from Gaborone, Botswana. They have incorporated elements from African culture into heavy metal music, attracting the attention of international media. Their releases, Iklwa, Gauna and Dipoko, pay homage to ancestral beliefs and African spirituality, while the band still plays in the vein of traditional heavy metal. Another Rock band that has played in Kenya is STRAY FROM THE PATH. Stray from the path is an American hardcore punk band formed in 2001 in Long Island, New York. They performed in Kenya on June 2nd 2018 at Choices Baricho Road, Nairobi Kenya. Most of these international Rock Bands have been able to come and perform in Kenya all thanks to the Hardcore Help Foundation based in Germany. Hardcore Help Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Germany that works with locally established organizations on various community based projects. Founded in the year 2011.
Other International Rock bands that have managed to play in Kenya include Slander from Italy, In Other Climes from France, I am Revenge from Italy and others!
