We’ll start by explaining what cross filtering is and how it helps you see connections in your data. You'll learn how to select a visual, enable edit interactions, and decide how that visual filters others.

Watch as we demonstrate how selecting a data point in one visual, such as a bar chart, automatically filters related visuals, like a pie chart. We’ll also dive into the three main interaction options:

Highlight: When you select a data point, only the related values are highlighted in the other visuals. This option helps you see connections while keeping other data visible, making it easy to compare.

Filter: This option completely filters the other visuals to show only the selected data. When you choose this, you'll see only the relevant information, which is useful for focused analysis.

None: Choosing this option disables any interaction with the selected visual. The other visuals will remain unchanged, allowing you to view them without any filtering or highlighting effects.
