Скачать или смотреть 35mm Film Digitization: UConn Library Digital Imaging Lab X-Y Table System

Designed in collaboration with Ulsaker Studio, the University of Connecticut Library's Digital Imaging Lab's newest X-Y table was created with flexibility in mind. In this video, 35mm film is shot in both a fully automatic and semi-automatic manner using the system's Cognysis Stackshot 3X controller, two OpenBuilds High Torque Series stepper motors, and a Canon 5DsR camera with Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro lens. Programming of both the table's X and Y movements, and camera operation are accomplished through the Cognysis. Semi-auto shooting is integrated into the system for formats like unevenly cut 35mm strip film sections which can make full auto mode operation impracticable. Among other applications, the system can also shoot oversized flat objects as large as 30" x 40" in size at high resolutions. A detailed examination of the system's performance may be found in, M.J.
