What I ended up making in the end was not what I set out to make. I was going to sew Sybil's harem pants outfit. I even got so far as gathering all of the materials and the patterns I wanted to use. Then I started doing research for the history on harem pants and just felt less and less comfortable with the ideas of the time they were brought to the western world. I abandoned ship and had about 3 weeks to come up with another costume, create said costume, and edit the video in time for COSY. Spoiler alert: I did it! I'm very happy with the finished result and I had a lot of fun putting it together. The 1910s has such a variety of shapes and silhouettes and after my last two projects I'm looking forward to exploring that era further.
