This week you get a look at the latest progress as we do a restoration and remodel in our historic home. The granite was delivered and I held my breath as they lifted the heavy slab up our back stairs into the kitchen. You also get a look at the flooring and the plumbers last bit of work. So exciting!

Little Frannie Jo joined me for her first full day of adventures at The Mystical Magical Mansion and she could not be any cuter!!

I also take you along as we go through The Joslyn Castle for a holiday craft boutique. The building is stunning with its gothic revival architecture and exquisitely decorated interiors. It is one of my favorite places in the city of Omaha.

We took on the removal of wallpaper on the first floor entry way and it proved to be more difficult than expected, but that is pretty much every project in a historic home. The craftsmanship is always appreciated but really challenging to overcome sometimes.
