This game has 25 teams that you can play, then you enter a tournament against 5 teams, after you win them all, you play a bonus match vs a unique team made up of developers.

The game has better graphics than the original, with new better animations and better sprites of the players.
You can choose with the camera field vertical or horizontal even though replays after a goal are always displayed horizontally.

Gameplay is pretty simple, Joystick move the players, A is for shooting with the ball, tackle without it (very safe from fouls).
B is for crossing, air playing/passing and risky aggressive fouls without the ball. Last but not least the C button that is used exclusively for ground passages.

Players can play versus in a 1 vs 1 classic mode to show who's the best or co-op versus the cpu.
