Both Hadoop and Spark are frameworks that provide a number of inter-connected platforms, systems and standards for big data projects.
In this webinar, Praba Santhanakrishnan, a principal data scientist at Microsoft in Seattle, explains some of the fundamental similarities and differences of each platform, and then demonstrates some tools that are highly useful to data scientists when managing extensive data sets. Praba demonstrates the utility of each in the machine learning and artificial intelligence world where computers are being taught to spot patterns in data, and adapt their behaviour based on automated modelling and analysis of whatever task they are trying to perform.
