Raised by a single mother Johnny Truong (Jimmy Cheung) becomes the man of the house. To provide for his mom and younger siblings, he gives up school and works long hours to support his family. With the financial burden he reaches out to his former high school buddy Ken Mak (Will Zhong) for a job in the import/export trade. Ken reveals the truth and tells Johnny he's actually a cocaine dealer. With no other options, Johnny joins Ken's drug organization and becomes a notorious cocaine distributor in the San Francisco Bay Area .

As success grows for Johnny, so does jealously within Ken and the organization. Thai (Charles Lam), also a member of the drug organization plots out a plan to take Johnny out of the picture. “They say keep your friends close, but enemies closer.” Will jealously come between Johnny's and Ken's friendship, or will Thai take him out of the picture once and for all.

The series depicts a life of a drug dealer, the people they encounter, the lies they tell, and secret lives they live. “Sometimes you don't know who your friends are until you hit rock bottom and who suddenly becomes your friend when you're at the top.”
