Описание к видео Do Our Eyes Have Blind Spots? | BYJU'S Fun Facts

Have you ever tried looking at something with one eye closed as a kid? We all have! It was fascinating to see how an object would disappear as soon as we close one eye. But, how did that happen? Well, when it comes to human vision, there might be more than what meets the eye. Each of our eyes has a tiny blind spot about the size of a pinhead. They are nothing but areas where there are no photoreceptors to detect light, thus, creating a blind spot. They are too small to notice in day-to-day life as our brain fills in any gaps in vision in a meaningful way. But why do blind spots exist? And how does our brain fill the gaps? This video answers all these questions and much more.
